London Bridge Islamic and nursery and primary school
The school project was initiated privately in 2012 with an aim of up lifting the standards of primary education for both boys and girls who are poor, needy children and orphans in the area. The main goal is to promote education and mobilize community through awareness to enhance sustainable development in the area and Uganda in general. The community and the initiators realized the need for a primary school for orphans, needy and other children who are walking long distances in the area to acquire quality affordable education. It is saddening that many of these children are orphans who lost their parents to AIDS.

We build strong partnerships with the villagers and government in every community where we work. Our entire school building model is predicated on community ownership and project sustainability. Our work is scalable and replicable to maximize impact in the greatest number of places. And, we work hard to ensure everything we do is efficient, effective and culturally appropriate and we’re registered charity with religious value. We have a clear, distinctive Islamic ethics that will help our learners to feel completely secure and this will bring with them a sense of shared ownership in the school.

Project challenges
The greatest challenge we have is to finish the construction of the building we started, as now we are facing financial constraints. As such we decided to create this website for your kind consideration. We hope for your generosity, friendly attitude, caring, kind and giving heart, excellent help.
